Greetings dear friends,

I’m Callendra, your local PHX black & white film photographer/instructor, dancer, and aspiring photojournalist for the local music, art, and fashion scene. My mediums are my passions that I’ve been pursing for years if not decades and all I want to do is pull community closer, strip the scenes down to their core and really dig into what makes these worlds so special. I’ve been consumed by the art and music world since I was a young girl standing in the crowd of a show all alone feelings the energy all around me wishing one day that I would be the one holding that time in space for years to come.

The Time Keepers Zine is a place for me to exercise my journalism skills, share my art with the world on a much larger scale and slowly show that thinking globally and acting locally to shed light on our local communities in a time where the world feels so loud. I’ve seen how we tend to lose the beauty of what’s right in front of us. That means just as art, fashion, and music has always been, politics, discussions of the world and what’s unfolding in front of our very eyes will be discussed. From interviews or art work being showcased, Time Keepers Zine is here to uplift, shine light, and better yet, with high hopes and intense manifestation, it could hopefully change the world even just a small bit. I look forward to sharing my work and my comrades with you all. Until then, please take care of yourself, your neighbors, and keep making beautiful art.
